2019 CARNIVAL DATES: JULY 11, 12 & 13

2018 CARNIVAL  WAS GREAT!

The weather was on the warm side with a little rain on Sat. night but the crowd stayed around.   Ladies auxiliary did a great job with the food as usual and sold more products than usual.  Parade had 56 units and lasted a little over 1 hour. The highlight of the parade was the Monroe Co. 3rd Batt. fire departments marching as one unit - it was very impressive.  We gave out $1,500 in prizes for the parade. It is getting harder and harder to get rides because we are considered a very small market. We had a total of 11 rides, 5 Food stand and 8 Games.  Next year we will have 2 larger  people rides and 3 more food booths. The lucky 3 raffle winners got $930 each. The banner program used 500 books of tickets, Firefighters & Ladies Aux. sold 400 books, they sold 220 books at the HQ tent. Total 1120 Books of tickets sold.  85% of the Active membership and several social members worked the carnival. We had help from several Rush & Henrietta residents and Henrietta Ambulance people also work the carnival which was greatly appreciated by the fire department.
